| Did You
Know? |
| There are over 3,800 pages of content on this site designed to
help you better understand the who, what, when, where, why, and how
of Genealogy for your family history research. While we try
to have everything easily accessible from the available
menus and sitemaps, we realize that sometimes a quick search is
better — especially if you're looking for a specific term.
For this reason, we have incorporated the power of
Atomz search technology within
our site. Now you can execute a search for a specific term (called a
'keyword phrase') and our site will present a listing of all the
pages that match your request.
To access this powerful
search at any time, simply use the link which appears in the upper
right corner of every page. |

Tips |
| By default the search engine tries to locate pages which have
exact matches for all of the words entered in your search query.
If that fails, it then tries to locate pages which contain any
words in your search query.
- This search engine is not meant to replace reading the Searching for Our Roots pages. It is a
handy tool to search for and find any text within the site
quickly, but you wouldn't want to miss all the other good stuff
that I have online. Would you?
- By popular demand, this site makes minimal use of the special
spanish characters such as ¨, or ´. This will facilitate the
search for all researchers.
- If you don't find your ancestor's name on the search engine,
try a different spelling for the surname. Remember that your
ancestor's surnames are some times spelled differently.
- You can search on single words, groups of words, phrases, or
conditional phrases.
- Searches are not case sensitive. All caps or all lower
case or mixed case is OK.
